Hello everyone,
After a period of testing for the past few months, I'd like to point out a new feature on the site which may be useful to those of you who can read Thai script. In the site control panel, near the bottom in the "Content Options" section, you will see a checkbox marked RID82. (You must press [submit changes] after changing this setting).
This will enable the display of information from the Royal Institute dictionary (1982) on this website. These are definitions of Thai words, in Thai, as promulgated by the official curating body of the Thai language, the Royal Institute. When available, the information is presented in its original, unmodified format at the top of the dictionary page for each individual word.
The Thai-script lookup function on thai-language.com also becomes enhanced when RID82 mode is enabled: if the word is not found in our database but is found in RID82, the RID82 entry will be displayed.
Feedback is welcome on this enhancement. Thanks,
Glenn
