Glenn,

I just wanted to acknowledge and point out the welcome page news regarding the paper you will be presenting in Beijing later this month. Congratulations. I am sure most of us don't have a clue what it is about but we are still proud of you. :D

Also, thanks again for what you have done and continue to do with this site.

The link to the workshop website (http://www.sanlp.org/wssanlp/) contains a table listing the "living languages" in various asian countries. How are those languages counted? For instance are European languages included in the 74 languages in Thailand or are only indiginous languages included?

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your note. I don't know about the living languages business, but you might be interested in http://www.ethnologue.com/web.asp if you don't already know about it.

Best,

Glenn
