Hi everyone, newbie here.

Hello everyone,

I was researching some Thai language courses for the Seattle area and came across this website. I have been wanting to learn the Thai language almost all my life. Many years ago, I bought books and self-studied alone. Since I did not know anyone who spoke Thai, it was really hard for me to catch on and figure out if I was learning correctly or not. It came to a point where I was able to read, but was not able to figure out what the words are in English. So then, I took a break. Now that I am working on my degree in Public Health and wanting to hopefully make a move into Global Health in Southeast Asia, I would like to continue learning some more Thai, and wish to be fluent. With that being said, if anyone has any study groups or language courses in the Seattle/Tacoma/Kirkland area, I am extremely interested in joining in.

Thank you for such an amazing website.

Hello and welcome. Always happy to discover how much I don't know by trying to answer people's questions.
