About the word "Tee" link Noun with adjective

Postby Celebrintal » Thu Feb 14, 2013 4:52 pm

Hello guys

i have a question!:)

I have seen some times they link the noun with the adjective with the word "Tee" is there any specific rule to do it ? or its optional ?

like for example

This is true story
Ruang nee pben ruang jing
Ruang nee pben ruang tee jing

Right now ish't good time
Dton nee Mai chai way laa dee
Dton nee mai chai way laa tee dee

I have read somewhere that you can put tee in phrases that the noun ish't real noun.. like for example

Gaan wing pben ook gam lang kai tee dee mak !!

I would apreciate it if you can make it clear! because kinda confused me!

Thanks in advance :) :)

A noun can be modified by a directly-following adjective, optionally with or without the connective /thîi/.

The effect of connecting /ciŋ/ to /rŷəŋ / using /thîi/, resulting in /rŷəŋ thîi-ciŋ /, is to emphasize the contrast of an affair/account/story that is true from one which is not.

/rŷəŋ ciŋ / ‘a true story’

/rŷəŋ thîi-ciŋ / ‘a true story (mind you)’
