To speak drawing on all five rivers = in English To beat around the bush, to speak without getting to the point. I am interested in what are the five rivers? Please could someone explain? Or point me to a link with an explanation?

If you try Google you will see plenty of explanations. It appears to come from a story: เรื่องมหาเวสสันดรชาดก which you can Google as well, with meaningless translations. The rivers will be in India.

In the epic poem, it is said that BeggarJujaka brought the kind prince Vessantara to terms by comparing his generous mind with the greatness of the five rivers: Ganges, Yamuna, Aciravati, Sarabhu (Sarayu), and Mahi.

"ห้วงน้ำ (ในปัญจมหานที) เต็มเปี่ยมตลอดเวลาไม่เหือดแห้ง ฉันใด พระองค์มีพระหฤทัยเต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยศรัทธา ฉันนั้น เกล้ากระหม่อมฉัน กราบทูลขอแล้ว ขอพระองค์ทรงพระกรุณาพระราชทานสองปิโยรสแก่ ข้าพระองค์เถิด"
