ใด ๆ

Postby Tgeezer » Sun Jul 06, 2014 5:18 am

I wonder if anyone knows if ใด ๆในโกกล้วนอนิจจัง is a new saying.
My copy of the RID doesn't have ใด ๆ as a pronoun meaning 'anything'. I think that "ทุกสิ่ง in the world, all of them are impermanent." would carry the same meaning yet the original sounds like something a monk might say so I can't understand why it isn't in my dictionary.
Does anyone know that ใด ๆ is new?

It's hard to explain...
I think it should be more like
"Things in the world, more of them are impermanent."
"things" is not specific, It could be anything.
things --> ใดๆ

We don't use this word in our daily life. I've only seen it in books or literatures.
