ฉันเพิ่งดูหนังเรื่องหนึ่งจบ
My biggest mistake, as I know now, was to translate หนังเรื่อง as outlined here
http://www.thai-language.com/id/213517
Rather, this here นังเรื่องหนึ่ง is the "first part of ..." I would say in German "Dreiteiler" (TV, film) which translates into "three-part series".
1. I cannot find the term "three-part series" in the dic here. How to call this in Thai?
2. The heading of this short story reads "ฉันดูหนังวันนี้" but as it turns out in the overall context that this heading seems to be โกหก because on this day only part I of three-part series "Star Wars I-III" was watched. Is there a better Thai term for the heading? One could say, of course, it a little bit lengthy:
Today I started to watch a (is the English term plural? German 'Dreiteiler, der' is singular) three part series.
TIA for any suggestion or translation.
