How do you say colloquially in Thai someone has a good sense of humour? By sense of humour, I mean they might tell funny jokes, or have a funny take on events that life throws at them, or find the same things funny you do.
Is maybe one of these correct:
1. คุณอารมณ์ขัน
2. คุณมีอารมณ์ขัน (not sure of the grammar here, is มี necessary here?)
3. Or maybe some other expression?

From my readings :
เธอไม่มีอารมณ์ขันเลย
เป็นคนที่อารมณ์ขันแบบเฮฮา

So, it seems that both are possible

He is a humorous person. - เขาเป็นคนตลก เฮฮา or เขาเป็นคนตลกโปกฮา

From a couple of sources I have discovered that "ชอบ" can mean "often". How would I know if the meaning was "often" as opposed to "like"?


If it has negative meaning, mostly "ชอบ" means "often".

We have a similar construction in English:

"Why do women like to believe they are fat?"

.. where 'like to' means more like 'tend to', or 'choose to', or 'often'.
