Can anyone help? A fellow member kindly translated some English in to Thai for me. I am now trying to get it to appear in thai8 font. Can anyone please help?
Here is the text:

Thank you,

I think this is the font you mean.

I think it would be very difficult to obtain that font. This is perhaps a question for Glenn.

Thank you Simon & Glenn for your replies. Simon, yes the font that you highlighted is the font i am trying to use. In fact, it is one shown on this web site. Glenn, have you got any idea as to where i can get this type font? Thank you both again, Senna

I'm pretty sure that the "THAI8" font is an old, non-unicode font which is not modern, i.e. not a Unicode font. The Wisak font is the closest one.

Thank you again Glenn. I'm not sure whether i'm being very silly but for some reason i cannot get the link you sent to upload in order that i can use the font? Is there anyway you could change the font on the translation i originally posted and then paste on to a new message on this forum, so that i can copy and paste? Why all the commotion you're probably wondering? Welll, whilst in Thailand in 2006 i found out i was expecting my son. The script relates to me seeing him for the first time when he was first born (hope the context of the translation would fit this scenario?) and i wanted to have a framed piece of script in his bedroom, to symbolise my first memories of him.

Well, if you want a translation which fit with this scenario, I think I should give you a new translation.

Thank you Glenn. You have been really helpful. I have decided to get an artist to paint the script now and your link will give him some ideas when it comes to style. Regards, Senna

Thank you Nan for your help again. I have asked you a further question regarding your reply but as it refers to translation i have put it under the translation forum. I hope you can help just once more. Thank you, Senna
