Since 1960 I have the opportunity to observe the struggles of the people of Thailand ... their efforts in school as children and the workplace are inspiring and encouraged me to apply myself...I find their music ...this style of their music comforting and most enjoyable

In a small village one night in a house on stilts near the Burma border (in 1961) I listened to young girl sing something similar to this...she was singing softly to herself and one of her children...incredible memory.

hoping to post my favorite song from what seems like a hundred years ago - ไม่มีวัน - i discovered that i could not find this classy old เพลงลูกกรุง if anyone can find it please post and let me know. i just remember the first line went something like:

อย่าหวังว่าฉันจะคุกเข่าให้ "don't expect me to kneel before you" - powerful lyrics indeed! by the way, if you know the original artist please let me know. thanks.

Well, I like strong, female voices, like Mai Charoenpura. So, I like Klear. Their latest album, The Storyteller, has a number of Mai's songs as well.

While searching for similar sounds, I came across Fahrenheit. I bought Fahrenheit Extra and, though I was not disappointed, I rather feel that the poor girl has strained her voice. It's a pity because she could have been great. Are they Chinese or Korean?
