I downloaded this dictionary not knowing that it's iOS 7 only, so I'd like to add my vote to those wanting an app designed for an earlier version.

iOS 7 is butt-ugly and I don't know when I'm going to update (when they finally fix it, hopefully).

Your vote in favor of iOS 6 compatibility is well received. So far, other features have been prioritized higher, but it is not impossible that iOS 6 compatibility will come in a future update.

I have an iphone 4 and it is not recommended that these models "upgrade" to iOS7.

I wanted to use your app but unfortunately you haven't made it compatible with iOS6.

Not everybody uses iOS7. Such a shame - I was really looking forward to using your app!

As mentioned above, iOS 6 compatibility is not out of the question. It simply has not been a priority yet. Your feedback is taken into consideration when planning features for the next update. Thank you!

Whether Apple's departure from skeuomorphism has made iOS 7 ugly or elegant is a matter of opinion. It is an interesting discussion in its own right, but let's not have it here. Thanks.

I got all excited and downloaded the app to an iPhone 5, only to find out that you needed iOS 7 to use it.
I should have read a bit more before clicking I guess.

What a shame... it looks like a great app and I was looking forward to using it. If it's anything like the website then I'm sure it's good.
Oh well.

Has there been any further thought on making it compatible with iOS 6 ?

You should consider upgrading your iOS.

An iPhone 5 will run iOS 7 really well.
