I want to buy my Thai friend a Blackberry Phone in the USA before I go to Sukhotai. She has no cell phone.I would like to be able to Blackberry Message her while I travel .I understand I can save a great deal of money($200-$300) by buying it in the USA . My concerns are
1.What would be the least expensive Data Plan plan for her ?
2.Would it be difficult to set up the functions(keyboard text and Language) into Thai from English.
3. I believe I have to buy it unlocked .Is this correct?
4. I don't know if Thailand is GSM and CDMA if that matters.
5.Any suggestions on any thing would be really great.
