Keith,
I do have an answer for you from my own experience. The tone quiz is now working fine for me in the Google Chrome environment. I can see the example box with its spelling and the sound icon, as well as the answer side and the results section.
One of the keys is to have the sound element working. For the sounds to work properly for this site in Chrome, you need to have the "Windows Media Player Extension for HTML5" installed. To do this, go to http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/ ... for-chrome .
The Media Player Extension cannot be installed normally, but the site does give directions which function well:
"1. Download the extension from here (right click and "Save Link As...") and save it on your local machine.
2. in Chrome, select the Chrome menu/tools/extensions.
3. You will need to check the developer mode box to install the extension.
4. Drag&Drop the extension file on the extensions page. Chrome will ask you to install the extension."
If you use this procedure in Windows 7 or 8, I believe that the Quiz will work for you. Please let us know if this solution produces the results you are looking for.
Thanks.
