Friends,
For those of you interested in Thai History and Southeast Asian Studies, the Siam Society has now released full pdf copies of its Journal on the Internet. You can find Journal articles at http://www.siam-society.org/pub_JSS/jss_index.html . The articles are inclusive from the year 1904 through the current year. Unfortunately, the documents were scanned and some of the articles are spotty and faint. However, in general, the pdf files are easily readable, but not internally searchable. Article titles for the early volumes, for example, are shown at http://www.siam-society.org/pub_JSS/jss ... -1910.html.
For example, I downloaded an article on language called "Affixation in Siamese" written by Dr. E. Gehr, published in 1951. This article describes how the Khmer system of affixation has been brought into Thai. For those of you interested in etymology, this is an important introduction.
