another type of spirit

Postby meythai » Tue Jul 22, 2014 12:15 pm

thanks to khun pirin for help with ผีปกกะะโหล้ง .

I have another one to ask about and this I think is more universally known throughout Thailand. it is a baby that is born with no body! I have heard it called กุมานทอง . again, if I have misspelled the word please correct. my understanding is that it is a benign spirit that will help its "mother" with luck or finances, but can also be used in black magic to bring hurt to others. I think there is another name for it ลูกกร้อ any information would be appreciated. by the way is there another section on thai spirits or animistic beliefs on this site besides the one called "animism sorcery etc."? didn't find anything there.
