I have a book recommendation
Dunno if anyone has mentioned it before as the forum search function did not like the title
It's called "Very Thai - Everyday Popular Culture" by Phillip Cornwell-Smith.
Not the cheapest of books but hugely interesting (and often amusing). I read it cover to cover one Sunday and I'm no bookworm.
Give it a go !
