I am from Galway Ireland and I'm looking for information regarding the language policy of Thailand.
I am interested in lesser spoken languages in Thailand and how the Government deals with them.
Does the Government and the political system encourge the use of lesser spoken languages?
Is their a National recognised language with a special position in law in Thailand?
Are lesser used languages taught in the schools or are there special schools and if there are are they publicly funded?
Are Government services provided in lesser used languages?

In Thai language Bruu (Western?) will be ภาษาบรู in the sense as described here at Tl.com.

I do not know how familiar you are with Thai letters, but with the term บรู (=Bru, or Boru as suggested by TL.com) you can google for the language (what is know about this language in Thai publications). I have the feeling that partial answers to your questions can be found e.g. here ---> ภาษาบรู
