I use this site, Thai2Engish and the Thai-English dictionary by Paiboon publishing.

This site is the most versatile, but Thai2English has a bigger vocabulary. I like the Paiboon dictionary because it gives a listing of words when you enter the first letters. It also has various fonts, sound clips and classifiers.

I usually have all three resources open when I study.

If you use the "Dictionary" tab at the top of the page on this site, you will see that it also uses a "predictive" mode, like Paiboon or Google. That is, it will give you a suggested listing of words based on the first consonants, vowels, and diacritics that you type.

Thai spelling is difficult for many of us and it sometimes helps to be able to look up parts of a word. To have the broadest reach possible, go to "site settings" under FAQ in the left hand column of this website, scroll down to "Search" and under "Thai Search Mode" and "English Search Mode", choose "Contains" and "Contains Text*" respectively from the scroll boxes. Click on "Save Changes" located on the lower right hand side of that section.

Thanks, I had not expored this area of the site. I normally just use the "Lookup" box.
