Hi

If you like full moon party....it might be fun at Pha- Ngan island. But if you like peaceful....may be go a bit furthur to Koh Tao ( Toa island ) it's not far from Pha-Ngan ). Or I would suggest you to go to Similan islands....it's nice and quiet there...and really private. It's good for scuba diving there. Well, talking about beaches...make me thinking about planning to go to beaches in Thailand....wonderful time !

Totally agree with Khun Nannyja on both Pa-Ngan & Tao Islands, especially Pa-Ngan Island's world famous, wild, fun-packed, dance-all-night-long Full Moon Party. Been there; Done that and wanna do it again! :D I have been to all the island range starting from Samui to Pa-Ngan to Tao and Nang Yuan. The last is the best and most expensive, but it's wortth your money & time.

Similan is located just north of Phu-Ket province. More info & complete on-line guide.

Hello sawaddi kraap! In fact I was searching for any place to study Thai language on Koh Phangan and found this page... Well it would be fair for other people who would like to learn Thai if this page also contain link to C&M Study Center for Thai language ... Some of my friends even told me about place and recommended to visit, and I'm going to do so in one week!

The Similans are about 2 hours boat ride from the resort area of Khoa Lak in Phang Nga province, but please be aware that diving there is pretty expensive.
