I know that it has something to do with loving forever but the first part has me confused.

Thanks

I think it should be : ".... and I promise that I will love you forever."

As Kurozero77's pointed out, "....and I promise that I will love you forever".

The sentence used the not polite pronoun. Here, the whole sentence in Thai:

แล้วกูก็สัญญาว่าจะรักตลอดไป

I read it as "แล้วก็" rather than "แล้วกู". I must have read the transcription incorrectly. Thanks.

I also read as "แล้วก็"

"แล้วก็ ขอสัญญาว่า จะรักตลอดไป"

It should be "แล้ว(เรา)ก็ ขอสัญญาว่า (เรา) จะรัก(เธอ)ตลอดไป."

It is weird, if someone cut these pronounces from the text "แล้ว[คุณ]ก็ ขอสัญญาว่า [คุณ]จะรัก[ฉัน]ตลอดไป."

Normally, when a subject is omitted, the subject is the speaker.
Also, when an object is omitted, the object is listener.
