What word is used to indicated riding an elevator?

Thais use the British term "ลิฟต์" or "ลิฟท์" (lift) for "elevator". Sample sentence from Lexitron:

"กรณีที่มีเหตุการณ์ไฟไหม้เกิดขึ้นห้ามทุกคนใช้ลิฟต์" (In case of fire do not use the elevators.) (Lit. "In the case where fire breaks out, everyone is prohibited from using the elevators.")

If you are at the bottom and want to use the elevator to go up, say "ขึ้นลิฟต์". When we want to descend, we can say, "ลงลิฟต์.

"ผมเป็นคนหนึ่งที่ใช้ชีวิตประจำวันในการขึ้นลิฟท์ วันละหลาย ๆ รอบมาก วันละ ไม่ต่ำกว่า 5 รอบ เป็นแบบนี้ทุกวัน"
(I am one of those people whose daily life involves going up elevators many times a day; I ride [the elevator] no less than five times a day. [My life] is like this every single day.)

Here is another sentence from the Se-ed website:

"เวลาขึ้นลิฟท์ เรามักจะต้องกดอยู่สองปุ่มนั่นคือ "ปุ่มหมายเลขชั้น" กับ "ปุ่มปิดประตู" "
(When we use the elevator, we usually have to press two buttons, the button which indicate which floor we want to go to and the button to close the elevator door.)

Here is one from Facebook:

"รอเพื่อนของคุณให้เค้าลงลิฟท์ด้วยนะครับ"
(Wait from your friend to get into the elevator [so that you can go down together]."

This seems to follow the directional pattern of the language i.e. ไป, มา.
