What is the meaning and what would be the English equivelent of the Phrase เหมือนเอาพิมเสนมาแลกกับเกลือ
I’m translating an article about King Naresuan and it appears that Nanda Bayin said this to his generals of Naresuan, after Naresuan unsuccessfully tried to storm the ramparts of his camp.

Thanks very much for your reply. The passage the expression seems to mean that Nanda Bayin thought that Naresuan was demeaning his noble birth by fighting as a common foot soldier. Thanks again,
