I get the gist of this sentence, but what would be a proper translation?

ไม่ใช่นิ่ง...เพื่อนิ่ง แต่นิ่งเพื่อให้รู้เท่าทัน สิ่งทั้งหลายที่ไม่นิ่ง

ไม่ใช่นิ่ง...เพื่อนิ่ง. This was what was confusing me. That makes sense. I didn't see the context.

Now just running the Thai through my head given the context "Be] not still for its own sake" make the Thai make sense.
