Hi Toffeeman,
Actually, you were not wrong. รถติด means traffic jam (noun). For example:
I will be there late because of traffic jam.
ฉันจะที่นั่นสายเพราะ รถติด
Anyway, when it comes to the opposite meaning (no traffic jam), we (Thais) normally say รถไม่ติด.
ไม่มีรถติด is not used but if you say it to me, I can understand what you mean.

Thank you, "Monkeypegte" for your reply. I have a question about:
"I will be there late because of traffic jam.
ฉันจะที่นั่นสายเพราะ รถติด"
Is it common in Thai speech to omit the word "มา" "อยู่" "มาถึง" in a sentence like this?
Thanks.
