just want to no if there is a special meaning for this sign (ω) in Thailand.

Reason for asking is, that I don't have a clue what the meaning of the following sentences is:

1. ˋωˊตำเองˋωˊ
2. แบบนี้เขาเรียกว่าˋωˊ

The first sentence was referring to a som tum.So I think, that it was maybe exhausting, doing it ( ωตำเองω)

2nd had nothing to do with the 1st
for the second I have to add, this was a poem and that there was another line with the word รัก at the end (there were also many lines before)
So it should say:
'this they call ω love '

Firstly, thank you for the reply, very honest.
I asked because I heard a spoof on the internet generation who's conversation was laced with emoticons ie. She was like- "have a G R eight time colon, dash close brackets" for She said "have a gr8 time " and instead of Oh my god (OMG) they actually said "Oh emm gee" . I wondered how this would be read, even more interesting since you say that a poem is involved.
Would that be, แบแนี้เขาเรียกว่า จุด โอเมกะ จุด?
