yes it is.
You never die from my heart = you will live in my heart forever

this quote has in a Thai song too.
"...เธอไม่เคยจะตายจากไปในใจฉันยังมีเธอ เหมือนคนละเมอบ้าบอยังรอแม้สายเกินไป..."

น้องสุครับ

Please help us understand these lyrics:

เธอไม่เคยจะตายจากไป - You will never leave me
You will always be in my heart
I am like someone who says crazy things in her sleep
I will wait for you, no matter how late it is.

Did I parse these phrases correctly and do I understand the meaning?

Thanks.

of course Pi David

เธอไม่เคยจะตายจากไป - you will never leave me (it's okay)
in fact of this quote it means somebody left (by death or any reason that never come back again, no way)
but he or she imagine the lover never leave him/her.

You will always be in my heart (very correctly :D)

I am like someone who says crazy things in her sleep (  )
he/she is like a crazy person with his/her daydream only.

I will wait for you, (right+) no matter how late it is. (  )

we must divide it แม้/ สายเกินไป
แม้ = even though สาย only = late
สายเกินไป = too late

แม้สายเกินไป = even though too late but i will wait for you.

you must watch this you will get it better

(please correct my English translation for me if you see any wrong Thank you very much David :) )

I understand that สายเกินไป means "too late" with the implication that "it is past time when anything can be done." For example,"The library closes at 8:00 p.m. You arrived at 8:30 p.m. You are too late to bring your books back."

In the song, however, I wonder about the meaning of "ยังรอแม้สายเกินไป". Let's say the situation is that someone is coming down to visit on the train. You can only seem him for a short time while the train is stopped at the station, then he will move on with the train. The train arrives at 8:30 and leaves at 8:45. You arrive at 9:00. You say that 'even though it is too late, I will wait for you.' This seems strange.

I was wondering whether in the context of the song, สายเกินไป means "very late at night" or "a long time", as in "I will wait for you to come see me even though it is very late at night."

Which meaning is implied by the song? Thanks.

aha i get you David
this song is about a girl who died/ but her boyfriend still love only her/ it seem like his heart still waiting for her even she died and he knows that is no way to get her back from death.

when we see this quote เธอไม่ตายจากใจ or เธอไม่เคยจะตายจากใจ
it's all the same meaning. it means somebody never leave from (your) heart. (even he/she forever leaves in reality.)
