Any Thai idioms similar to this?

Postby telstrareg » Mon May 11, 2015 3:20 am

I once read an article, written by a Thai about some farang who come to Thailand, meet women in bars and strip clubs and then wonder why they seem to have more problems with these women than average. The expression the writer used was "They all drew water from the same tainted well"

The views of the writer are not relevant. However, I would like to know if there is a similar expression in Thai that conveys the idea that people are getting the same results because of a common root or cause (or poor judgement).

Hi,

I could not think of any Thai idiom that has this meaning.

The most similar one (but still not the meaning you asked) is "ลงเรือลำเดียวกัน" which I think it is used in English "in the same boat" as well. It means that we are in the same situation.
