Hello

I got a little question for you.

When I was in Thailand, i used go to a little street restaurant in the morning. One day, I saw a kid drinking a kind of hot half-cooked mixed egg in a glass. I ordered one and asked the cook the name of this drink, and he said it was ''Khai Loa'', I know khai means egg, but I didn't get the end.

I found it delicious and I'd like to know the name of this recipe and how to cook it if anyone know how to.

Thanks!!

"ไข่ลวก" (See http://www.thai-language.com/id/202329 for the pronunciation)

Actually, in wake of the avian flu which infected much of Thailand, health authorities recommended that eggs and chicken be fully cooked to kill the bacteria. That recommendation virtually knelled the demise of ไข่ลวก in much of the kingdom.

In that case, cook with Kikkoman or other soy sauce.
