សូមអរគុណតែខ្ញុំស្គាល់អស់ហើយ Khmer keyboard ហើយមាន font រួចហើយ It's the three Thai symbols I'm having a hard time findig on my Mac. Thanks again though.

When I use the font Khmer OS, I can find the sign “៕” at “>”. As for the signs koomuut and phnaek muan, I can just “copy” them from a source and “paste”.

I'll find those three one way or another. If not, I'll just use our Khmer symbols which are all on my Mac until I do find them.

You can find all the characters for all the languages installed in you computer using the CHARACTER TABLE.
I have a French Windows version, so that my example is in French.

You can open the Character Table by making a search.

I don't think there are standard key-combinations on your keyboard to get these symbols.

What I do is select "special characters" under the Finder's Edit menu.
You'll find those symbols in the Thai section, then you can insert them in your text.
If you use them often you can mark them as a favorite so you won't have to look for them every time, or alternatively create your own shortcuts for these symbols (under Language and Text in the System Preferences)

On my iPad I could only find this one: ๏ You'll get that if you hold down the ฯ key for a second.
Maybe they have the same trick on the newer Mac OS as well, I don't know.

๏ (ฟองมัน),
ฯ (อังคั่นเดี่ยว),
๚ (อังคั่นคู่),
and
๛ (โคมูตร)
do not appear on the Thai keyboard.

It is advisable that we insert it as a symbol of the font Angsana New. I can’t find ฯ (อังคั่นเดี่ยว) there though. (Anyway, because these symbols are the same as those used in Khmer, feel free to use Khmer font.)

Ok, so, how do I do that from language and text in system preferences?

Please click ‘Insert’,
choose ‘Symbol’ there, and
find each symbol from the provided list of the font Angsana New.

There is no need to click "language and text in system preferences".

If you want to make it a shortcut (it's more like replacing actually) then go to "language and text".

Under the "text" tab, you'll already see some common examples, for instance if you type (c) it will automatically be replaced with ©

Click the + underneath to make a new one, give it a name in the new field, for instance KHOMUT, and paste the ๛ in the field next to it.

Now every time you type the word KHOMUT in a document it will automatically be replaced by the ๛ symbol

Just make sure you use some uncommon words! Or else that ๛ will pop up even when you don't want it
