Where are my vowels and tone signs?

Hi, I just recently purchased a new laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. When I visit your website to use the dictionary or other reference tools, it displays the Thai letters without any superscript or subscript elements (no long or short u, i, eu, mai ek, do, etc). On my home computer, running Windows Professional 64-bit, there is no problem, nor is there on my Galaxy 4 phone or my Acer tablet. และผมคียนได้ที่นี้ Does anyone have any ideas what little box I have to check somewhere deep in my system to get it to work properly on thai-language.com?

Thanks
Kevin

Kevin,

Try using another browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox and see if you are having the same issue. Also, try clicking on "site settings" over in the left-hand column. Scroll down to "fonts" and see if you can come up with some options there which help you to see the full words.

Additionally, in your browser settings, make sure that "Thai" is checked as an optional language.

Hi David and Bui

Thanks for the advice! I had been using Chrome, but it doesn't work on this computer--even with selecting Thai as an optional language as you suggested. But it works fine on Firefox. Your tips saved the day! :)
