Learning to type in Thai without a keybaord

Before I could use the keyboard to type in Thai, I used to carry around with me a set of home made flashcards created with MS-Excel, which help me in several ways:

1. On the left, the pictures shows how the consonants are written correctly by hand.
2. On the right, shows the reverse side of the page:
a) The color code denotes which class the consonant fall into. (Red: High, Amber:Medium, Green: Low) Yes..according to the order of the traffic lights.
b) The "lyric" of the Thai alphabets song.
c) The initial and final phonemic transcriptions.
d) The ASCII key corresponds to the respective Thai alphabet with reference to the Thai Kedmanee keyboard layout.

I've done the same with the vowels and other important symbols too. I purposely left out numbers ( from to ) of which I thought were not too difficult to navigate around.

The .xls file can be downloaded here . It is only 319K in size.

After printing each front page with A4 size paper, flip the printed page to continue printing with manual feed for the reverse side.
Cut each card carefully out using a pen knife and ruler by the lines and avoiding your fingers, and wow you can start learning to type in Thai without a keyboard for free.

Hope someone would find this useful.

The download is not there anymore. Any chance of a re-direction.

Hi, thank you for your interest in my Flash cards. The files were automatically removed by the file hosting

I have re-up the files to a different server in respond to the request of a member by PM.

Glad it could be of any help to you. Thanks.
