Strange Request about musical instruments

Hello,

My apologies about this post not having an appropriate topic. Multimedia was the closest I could think of...

I am looking to acquire a Ranat, the marimba used in traditional thai music.
I am coming to the conclusion that it is not easy to find and was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to acquire one.

It would be nice to pick from a few, but the last time I was at suksapan in ekkamai they had one for sale. But I am wondering how I would even go about finding a catalog of thai instruments that ships overseas - e.g. washington dc.

I know there is a UPS close that store which I could ship from but it would be a lot easier to just order one...

Any thoughts / ideas?

Thanks for the replies!

I think I have concluded that I will buy one on my next trip and ship it back. Makes the most sense...
