I just tested the sound features on my iPhone 4. You click on the speaker (one without the cross-out red line) and a right-facing white arrow in a blue circle appears on the upper left-hand side of the screen. click on this blue circled white arrow and the iPhone's sound screen appears. The sound file will start to play automatically. All this is done within Safari.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing difficulty.

Hi, I am also having problem listening to sound clips on my ipad air. IOS 8.3. Any solution to fix?

My iphone 5s with IOS 7.1 is able to launch the quicktime app to play the sound. but no luck with my ipad air.

Please help.
