I can't find this word in any dictionary. Found in a Pratom 2 lesson book with a picture of flying chickens.
พื่บพั่บ

The RID has it as suddenly in. พื่บ,พื่บพั่บ ไฟลุกพื่บม ลุกกันพื่บพับ
also the loud noise made by birds wings starting to flap, can you see it describing the picture? Certainly chickens suddenly get airborne and it's quite a flap, pun intended.

Just curious but what is the 'RID?' I used the lookup but it just takes me to a page that says that the word can't be found. Thanks for the translation though. "loud noise made by birds wings starting to flap" is what I was looking for.

The RID stands for Royal Institute Dictionary, พจนานุกรมฉบับราชบัณฑิตยสถาน
I recommend dict.longdo.com as a good site giving many English equivalent words plus RID definitions.
I used the hard copy of the dictonary so didn't notice the spelling, พึ่บ not พื่บ which can't use ไม่เอก.
I have just checked longdo and there is no other definition given other than that of the RID.
