What is the difference between towel (ผ้าขนหนู) and towel (ผ้าเช็ดตัว)?

"ผ้าเช็ดตัว" describes the function of the cloth: "to wipe one's body".

http://www.thai-language.com/id/197074

"ผ้าขนหนู" describes the nature of the cloth and the tactile sensation of the cloth: "terrycloth" and "feels like mouse fur."

Thank you. That's a clear explanation from a structural point of view.

What about from a usage point of view? I have discussed with my Thai friend and they said that http://www.thai-language.com/id/197074 is used in the bathroom to wipe your body, and http://www.thai-language.com/id/232743 is for any towel. So for me the former is therefore "bath towel" and the latter simply "towel".

What do you think?

I think it is good that so many people are trying to study something like this.
