1. Can anyone see a relationship between these two uses of กันเอง in these two examples?

I came across ภาษาระดับกันเอง recently I would translate this as language at an informal friendly level.

2. Are we supposed to read ระดับ in ราคากันเอง ?

Oh I say, do you think then that I have understood correctly at last?

Addendum. My reasoning is that if you are เพลินใจ it affects the seller, it makes him happy that you appreciate his wares and you get a better price.

Got it. A simple statement, of why she likes the fresh fruit and veg market= fresh, clean produce and friendly price.
I always try to make too much of it I fear but can I be blamed when ราคากันเอง seemed such an unlikely example?
ไปกันเอง (go alone) so In Lexitron ฉันอยากให้เขารูสึกกันเอง... does รู้สึกกันเอง sound good to you Pirin?

Being formal, informal, or conversational always matters.

Thank you Pirin, I tried to reply several times yesterday but my i'net was not cooperating.
It is difficult to know what to leave out.
I am reading a children's book now with the title, นิทาน สอนลูกรัก . อ่านสนุกแฝงคติ เสริมจินตนาการเด็ก
pleasurable read, hidden meaning, increase ability to form a picture in the mind; just what I need!
The language is conversational I am sure, I have some questions to ask later which I hope that you won't find tiresome.

Please feel free to ask questions when you read texts in Thai. I will be happy to give explanation whenever I have time. Later on, you will be so fluent in Thai that you can be the one who answers questions, I believe.

(When I was a students at schools, I read almost all books that I was interested. The librarians thought that I was addicted to reading because they didn't know that I could not communicate well in Thai, and that I needed to improve my skills in Thai language. Then I needed to learn as many new words in Thai as I could; otherwise, I would not understand what all of my teachers in class say to the students when they teach or explain things.
Only my first teacher knew that I couldn't say a word in Thai before going to school.)
