Does this sentence mean,

1. "This restaurant is believed to be the original [restaurant of its type] which is most delicious restaurant in this area."

Googling the term เจ้าเก่า and looking at the images shows that it's used in a LOT of adverts for resturants food shops etc..

I also think because once there's ANYTHING remotely successful here, suddenly 10 shops open selling the exact same thing right next door , that it does carry the idea "original". Now whether that is the original shop or the original recipe that every one else copies, I dunno

It may also be used for restaurants that have moved locations at some point in their existence.

One popular favorite in our neighborhood is actually a decrepit old pickup, the bed of which is the glorious kitchen when open for business, and where the utensils are stored when it is closed. It has a handwritten sign reads: รถกระบะเจ้าเก่า - which I prefer to translate as "Ye Olde Pickup Truck."
