Every time I attempt to convey to a bank teller that I want to exchange a thousand THB banknote for 10 one-hundred THB banknote, they look at me like I'm from Mars.

I'm down to drawing pictures to get them to understand me (draws 1000 THB banknote then ten 100 THB bills). Ok, now they look at me like I'm from Jupiter.

What is the proper phrase to use to ask a teller to exchange the thousand THB banknote to an equal amount of one-hundred THB banknotes.
