Hi, I'm learning Thai and this showed up on a facebook feed so I was wondering what it literally means because "girlfriend pearl" doesn't quite make sense. Thanks!

มุก is a common thai girl's name so แฟนมุก means มุก's boyfriend

For a little more background: 'girlfriend > boyfriend because jyajaz knows that มุก is a girls name.
'Boyfriend Muk' makes perfect sense to jyajaz because she knows that there is an implied preposition -แฟน(ของ-of)มุก> boyfriend of Muk giving Muk an 's and reversing the order of words to make English: Muk's boyfriend.
You will get used to it; in แฟนมุก what you didn't know was that มุก is a proper noun. It will make communication easier if you stick to the basic English ie.On Facebook: "พรุ่งนี้ ไปบ้านเขา "Tomorrow go house he." This assumes a subject: ผม, เขา, มุก etc. which non-friends won't know, plus there will be misspellings, so be careful reading Facebook.
