The following sentence is used as an illustration for จับจ้อง in Lexitron and other sources:
สายตาทุกคู่หันมาจับจ้องเขามีแววสงสัยเหมือนอย่างอยากรู้เรื่องที่เขากำลังพูดอยู่
but I am perplexed as to what the sentence is trying to communicate. Here are some alternatives:
a. Every pair of eyes stared at him, unclear as to what he was talking about.
b. Every pair of eyes were on him, as if perplexed by what he was saying.
c. Everyone turned to watch him, with a confused expression on their face, as if they were wondering what he was saying.
Any other alternative interpretations and which represents what the author is tryng to communicate? Thanks.
