[นาม]	(๑) ชื่อเฟิน ๒ ชนิดในสกุล Acrostichum วงศ์ Pteridaceae ต้นเป็นกอขึ้นริมน้ำ ใบยาวเป็นทาง ใบอ่อนสีแดง กินได้ คือ ปรงทะเล (A. aureum Linn.) และปรงหนู (A. speciosum Willd.).
[นาม]	(๒) ชื่อไม้พุ่มหลายชนิดในสกุล Cycas วงศ์ Cycadaceae ลำต้นกลม สีดำ ขรุขระ ใบเล็กยาวเรียงถี่ๆ บนทางใบ เช่น ปรงญี่ปุ่น (C. revoluta Thunb.) ใบใช้ทำพวงหรีด ปรงเขา (C. pectinata Griff.).
