เทศบาลปารีสจัดส่งน้ำสะอาดให้คนในปารีส โดยนำน้ำสะอาดจากนอร์มังดี ที่อยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ ผ่านสะพานส่งน้ำ Aqueduct ผสมกับน้ำที่สูบจากใต้ดินในปารีส ส่งตามท่อไปยังอาคารบ้านเรือน
