คน เรา เกิด มา อยู่บน กอง ดิน khohnM raoM geertL maaM yuuL bohnM gaawngM dinM	We are born on a mound of earth.
ทำมาหากิน อยู่บน กอง งาน thamM maaM haaR ginM yuuL bohnM gaawngM ngaanM	[We] earn our living on a pile of work.
ทำบุญ สุนทาน ด้วย กอง เงิน thamM boonM soonR thaanM duayF gaawngM ngernM	[We] make lots of merit with a pile of cash.
เดิน ย่างเท้า เข้าไป ใน กอง ฟอน deernM yaangF thaaoH khaoF bpaiM naiM gaawngM faawnM	[We] walk in on a pile of ashes.
นอน อยู่บน กองไฟ naawnM yuuL bohnM gaawngM faiM	[We] sleep on burning pyre.
เหลือ แต่กอง กระดูก leuuaR dtaaeL gaawngM graL duukL	What remains is a mere pile of bones.
