สินไถ่ คือ จำนวนเงินที่ผู้ขายฝากต้องนำมาชำระแก่ผู้รับซื้อฝากเพื่อขอไถ่เอาทรัพย์คืนซึ่งอาจจะตกลงไว้ในสัญญาขายฝากหรือไม่ได้ตกลงไว้ก็ได้
